Applications are now open for 2016 NSW Grandparents Day event grants
The NSW Grandparents Day grants program funds local organisations to deliver an event or activity that encourages intergenerational learning and/or offers older people ongoing opportunities to participate in their local communities.

In 2016, the grant funding available for NSW Grandparents Day events will increase from a total of $20,000 to $100,000.
Two funding categories are available:
Up to $1,000 for small-scale local community events or activities targeted and community organisations and schools.
$1001 – $5,000 for large-scale regional events that are targeted at specific communities or targeted at local government and larger community organisations.
Category 2 grants must be matched by at least 50% of your organisation’s own resources. This matched amount can include sponsorship, cash, or in-kind contributions such as venue hire, catering and administration costs, and money spent by your own organisation.
Who can apply?
All not-for-profit and community organisations, schools, childcare centres, and local government authorities based in NSW can apply.
Workplaces or businesses that plan activities or projects that support the needs of older people can also apply.
